Required Qualifications:
• Experience in a the Retirement Living (preferred), Hospitality, or another relevant sector;
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a leadership role;
• Very strong communication skills and the ability to interact with residents, families, community professionals and various outside partners;
• Demonstrated decision-making, problem-solving, and budget management skills.
Current (within 6 months) Vulnerable Position/Sector Screening (VPS).
Current references, including a direct supervisor required

Receptionist

Previous experience waiting on tables and/or working in a retirement or long term care setting an asset. Must be available for day, evening and weekend shifts.

Sales & Marketing Coordinator

Must have Retirement Home Sales & Marketing experience, strong resident focused approach with excellent knowledge and established relations within the Kingston health care community. Flexible hours a must, including evenings and weekends.

Cook – Part-time.
Preference given to a cook with min. 2 yrs. experience in fine food preparation.  Experience with a combi-oven cooking systems and provision of services to seniors an asset. A team-player with a proven ability to prepare delicious, nutritious attractive meals essential.

RPN – Permanent.  Full-time & part-time – The Waterford Retirement Residence is looking for an energetic, enthusiastic RPN, a self-motivated individual who possesses effective communication and leadership skills and is a co-operative team player. The candidate must possess a valid Certificate of Competence from the CNO and hold current first aid and CPR certification. Experience in a retirement residence is an asset.

Housekeeper – Part-time – Required for The Waterford Retirement Residence. If you have high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, are meticulous and energetic in your work and truly enjoy working with seniors in a team-centred environment, then we’d like to hear from you. Preference will be given to those with 3 years experience working in a senior’s setting. CPR & First Aid Certification and a sound knowledge of Health & Safety regulations an asset. Alternate weekend and shift work required.
